Environmental Compliance Activities

JCIL conducts routine environmental monitoring and compliance assessments across all operational areas of the factory. Our environmental specialists monitor air quality, dust emissions, noise levels, wastewater management systems, and waste disposal practices to ensure environmental protection and regulatory compliance.

We develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), conduct environmental audits, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. JCIL also oversees dust suppression initiatives, environmental restoration activities, pollution prevention measures, and proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes generated during clinker and cement production processes.

Additionally, we support the factory in maintaining environmental permits, preparing regulatory compliance reports, and engaging surrounding communities on environmental sustainability initiatives.

Occupational Health Compliance Activities

JCIL carries out occupational health risk assessments to identify workplace health hazards associated with cement and clinker manufacturing operations. We continuously monitor employee exposure to dust, noise, heat, and other occupational hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

Our team coordinates medical surveillance programs, workplace hygiene assessments, health awareness campaigns, and employee wellness initiatives. We provide guidance on occupational disease prevention and ensure that health monitoring programs are effectively implemented for workers operating in high-risk environments.

Occupational Safety Compliance Activities

JCIL conducts regular workplace safety inspections, hazard identification exercises, and risk assessments throughout the factory. We develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety Plans, Safe Work Procedures, and Permit-to-Work systems for critical operations.

Our safety professionals monitor compliance with safety requirements, investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring hazards. We ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe operation of heavy equipment and machinery.

We also conduct routine safety audits, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and contractor safety evaluations to maintain a strong safety culture across the facility.

Emergency Preparedness and Response

JCIL develops and maintains emergency preparedness and response plans for fire incidents, equipment failures, environmental emergencies, and other potential workplace emergencies. We conduct regular emergency drills, evacuation exercises, fire safety inspections, and first aid training programs to ensure personnel are prepared to respond effectively during emergencies.
